Hotels
Dear retreatants,
The retreats are open to both men and women, individually and collectively, up to a maximum of 35 places, as well as to couples. The duration of a stay may under no circumstances exceed one week (min. 3 nights) and must take into account the annual closure of the hotel from after All Saints' Day in November to mid-December.
Pricing
We operate as a 'monastic hotel', managed directly by the Abbey. There is therefore no set price; in the information we provide, we give an indicative operating price. The cost of your stay is up to you. Holiday information sheet
Housing
We have single rooms with washbasins and separate sanitary facilities, and double rooms with en suite facilities, primarily for couples or special needs. We also have a room for people with reduced mobility.
Preparing your stay
Please bring your own sheets or sleeping bag and towels.
It is customary for guests to share in the life of this part of the monastery. We therefore ask you to help out with certain tasks in a simple and cheerful way: washing up, setting the table, cleaning your room and, if necessary, the communal areas before you leave. Meals are taken in the hostel refectory, in silence.
Catering
We are unable to cater for special dietary requirements. Our cooks do their best to ensure a balanced diet.
Internet connection
Please note that there is no Internet connection at the hotel, only WiFi in a restricted area.
All requests for retreats should be addressed to the Father Hôtelier, preferably by e-mail, otherwise in writing, three months in advance, indicating the period desired.
