Community stay

The Lérins community opens its monastic space to people wishing to deepen or rediscover their faith and to reflect on the place of God in their lives, in a setting of prayer and fraternal life with a long experience and heritage of spiritual life.
This offer of a stay is made in a spirit of gratuity in the service of a Christian experience and formation, and is intended to provide the opportunity for a time away from it all to question one's inner life in the light of the Gospel and the meaning to be given to it.

The length of the stay may vary according to the wishes and possibilities of each person, but 8 days seems to be a minimum.
This type of stay does not take place in the usual hotel environment, but in a real sharing of life with the monks within the monastery and in respect for the rule of life governing the monastic community.
We offer a community environment based on liturgical prayer, daily Mass, Bible study, work with the brothers, meals together and the possibility of spiritual guidance.
The methods and rhythms of participation in common prayer and work are to be defined with the person accompanying you during your stay. A more personal space is provided for reading, dialogue and relaxation. You will be accommodated in a room in the monastic part of the complex.
