Throughout the summer of 2025, come and discover the sculpture exhibition \"What are monks for? by Jean-Pierre AUGIER<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The exhibition takes place in Saint Peter's chapel on the south side of the island, near the entrance to the monastery. \"2925a6a5<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre AUGIER finds his inspiration in old tools and iron objects, which he transforms by assembling them into moving characters or animals.<\/p>\n

He saves from oblivion, uselessness and destruction those items that were destined to be discarded or melted down. His work transforms them to give them another life, that of a work of art.<\/p>\n
